A London native, Edmund Lazarus has always possessed a deep fascination with economics and finance. As such, he pursued and received a first-class degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from University of Oxford, where he also served as President of the Oxford Union prior to his graduation.
Upon entering the professional realm, Edmund secured positions with the likes of Morgan Stanley Private Equity, Merrill Lynch, S.G. Warburg, and Bain & Co. before co-establishing Bergal Capital in 2002.He then spent 15 years building Bregal Capital before creating his own firm EMK Capital where he serves as Managing Partner.
